the experience and inspiration of living in many places has engendered in me a feeling of being (always and never) at home, as though i had grown up in a small town and stayed there forever…

i have built up several worlds with varying degrees of sacrifice, and i have tested myself in many genres. i know how much i have grown through writing and reflection, and how much i cherish creating in unison with other people.

The meandering trilingual (English, Hungarian, German) poetry of Johanna Domokos is transitional and eternal, moving around the world, going back and forth, following roads and letting them go.
